Kicheko Goods is a jewelry business in D.C. that is committed to supporting the education of children in impoverished areas of Congo. Established in January of 2014, their focus has been and continues to be protecting the right of education for Congolese children. For example, in their most recent corporate fundraiser entitled, Life with Kicheko, the proceeds from every purchase went directly toward providing scholarships for kids in Eastern Congo.
Life with Kicheko
Currently, Kicheko Goods is partnering with Mango Tree School, a primary school in Eastern Congo. In 2014, they financed the construction of 6 classrooms. Previously, in 2013 they helped students suffering from unfortunate circumstances. Then in 2016, they unveiled their fall/winter jewelry collection at Steadfast Supply Co.. Likewise, the proceeds from that event went directly toward helping less fortunate students in Congo. This event was truly special and we were there to add the important element of fun.
Each Kicheko guest arrived one by one anticipating the new collection. The spirit of charity filled the room. Gratefully, we were there to witness the love and memories shared between guests. The laughter in the room was infectious. Friends shared heartwarming stories of children who were able to continue their education with the help and generosity of Kicheko Goods.
The night kicked up a notch as guests gradually started to line up for the booth. Everyone immediately let loose in front of the camera and struck their best pose. Some preferred a silly look while others tested their modeling skills. A few couples even shared a kiss.
Similarly, Steadfast Supply Co. is a company dedicated to helping the local economy. They teamed up with Kicheko to create a layout and customized fixture to enhance their business theme. Of course the beautiful design was unique to the aesthetic of Kicheko. It definitely left a lasting impression on every guest.
