Last week, we co-hosted a party with our friends at Memories of Bliss Photography and Piccadilly Creative. It had been over a year since we last hosted our own party, and Galentine’s Day seemed like the perfect excuse to go all out. The whole idea behind Galentine’s Day is to celebrate you and the love you have for your girlfriends. So we made a list of everything we love, and invited our friends to enjoy them with us. At the heart of everything we do here at Tickled Photo Booth Co., is a deep love for all things social. We love to entertain, and we’re just as happy at a formal event as we are entertaining at home.
We held this event at one of our favorite venues, The Studios at 112 S. Patrick in Alexandria, VA. Dramatic flower arrangements, lush pillows on top of an assortment of patterned rugs, and candlelight set the tone for a cozy night, lounging indoors with our favorite girlfriends and girlfriendors.
For entertainment, we had a projector playing chick flicks (and popcorn, of course). We had a playlist of our favorite songs, a selfie station, delicious food, signature cocktails, and to end the night, we did karaoke to Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Michael Jackson. The night was equal parts gorgeous, delicious, and FUN!
We worked with some of our favorite vendors to bring it all together. Something Vintage Rentals provided us with the most beautiful vintage and cowhide rugs and a reclaimed wood table. Stem and Thistle created all of the beautiful florals. It was basically a grownup slumber party, and Tiffany Josephs Photography was there to capture it all.
